Introducing my new gal !!

Post by gar-dog » Wed Oct 31, 2007 12:13 pm

Well after months of research and patience, and help from so many of you, today I picked up my Brittany.

Mom is Marjo's Allakazam and Dad is Bucks Hit the Road Jack, 2005 NGDC.

Here are a few pictures, if you don't mind my gushing...

Thanks everyone! She doesnt have a name yet - we are going to wait a day and have 4 or 5 in mind to choose from. I picked her out of five females. She wasn't the shyest, yet not aggressive. Maybe she was more alert - just a look or two caught our eyes. She just seemed content and well-adjusted - greeted us, etc. It was a very balanced litter. But there was just something about this one. And those FRECKLES!

Gary, did you tell Marsha that we've been in touch? With a little luck (and good pain meds and muscle relaxers) I'm hoping to see Marsha and Joe on Saturday. There's a party in the Luisi's, Pollocks, and Kiracofe's honor (for the championships they've all won this season) and I'm really hoping to feel up to going.

I did mention we were in touch and that you had invited me out to Water n Wings sometime.

Let her know we are THRILLED with the pup. Hopefully your meds will help out - but easy on the alcohol :)

Great looking pup! But most setters have a longer tail than that!

The winter rye never seems to brown. Plus it has been a warm autumn.

Thanks for the complements. I need them after getting up at 1:30am, 3:30am, and 5:15am last night. UGHHHHH

he he, don't say I didn't warn you. This is why puppies are so darned cute. But they really do grow up too fast. Take lots of pictures now while she's still little.

BTW, does she have a call name yet?

Too cute! I had to call my 8 yo daughter into the room to have a look! She wants to be a Britt breeder & vet when she grows up.
