My personal prefernence is to have a vest that has sufficient amount of room to carry water bottles and ammunition.
If I wear a vest that looks like I am ready for the trout stream, I will fill every pocket up.
I either use a hip vest made by Cabelas or a minimal shoulder vest made by Filson.
I use a canvas holster for my ecollar transmitter and I use a game bird clip that hangs on my belt (allows the birds to cool rather than getting steamed on hot day in my vest)

I like my good ol' Gander Mountain Guide Series mesh vest (bought it on sale a couple years ago for about $25). Front and rear game bag loading, zippered pockets large enough to store a bunch of junk. And you can sew a nylon loop onto any vest to clip on your e-collar transmitter.

I prefer a Mothers type vest....

Extremely comfortable to wear all day, even full of water and birds.

That vest looks real nice till I look at the price and thaqt convince me I like Steve's choice. I have one of the mesh ones for Kath and I have the solid one, both blaze orange with front game pocket loading. I can carry all I want to carry in it.

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!

Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.

I would try Pella brand. I love mine.
