Where are you? There are lots of really exceptional Brittany breeders out there. Let us know where you are and maybe we can recommend a local one.

Kikimom has a couple of good pups and Bill Tate has a couple that should be excellent dogs. They are in PA and the edge of OH which isn't too far from you. Plus I am sure there are others in the area.

Contact your local Brit club and that would be an excellent place to start also.

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!

Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.

They are in NJ.

To answer question I have litters depending on when they come in heat and what plans I have . Usually 2 or 3 a year.

I would like to make a comment about the 2 puppies Helen has available. She has said that 4 of the 6 went to competition homes. I would think these are people that know the breed and have knowledge of how the dogs perform.
A little information about the sire that is not available just looking at the pedigree. I feel Chrome is the best male dog that I have had in many years. He has style to spare. He always has a high head and 12 O'Clock tail. He won adult stakes while still a derby, and is not yet 3 yrs. If you click on his pedigree in my sig. you will see that in 4 gen. most of the dogs are titled and they are super dogs.
If I wanted to add a dog at this time I would certainly consider her pup

Petey is a conformationally correct Brittany who could probably finish as easily as any L/W brittany in the show ring if his owners chose to go that path (which I'm sure they won't). His trainer prefers to keep all the dogs in his care shaved down year round...easier to find ticks on them, less likely to overheat, easier to get burrs out, etc., etc.

If you get the Field, check the Christmas edition. There's a nice picture of Petey, his owners and trainer, along with an article about them.

I spoke with Mrs. Kiracofe tonight and I am on petey's list. I am very excited. She seemed like a very nice woman. Thanks to all for steering me in that direction.

You made a good choice of Breeders. The Kiracofe's are well known and respected in the Brittany community.

I wish you the best with your new pup.

1 left , but I think she is pretty much sold. Do you plan on a repeat litter? I'm getting pretty kennel heavy with a new pup as well, but they sound darn tempting. Tell Brian hello for me will ya'

I was just referring to his head. It looks almost like a full stop, but I know that it is hard to tell what a dog looks like in real life from one picture.
