I think i can make some pretty easy i was thinking of using rebar or something simialr anyone got any pics of homemade ones you have built?
Use 1/2 inch PVC glued into a T connector. Takes about 10 of them for a 18 inch opening if I remember right. Just string the T connectors on to a bar and put it in a window and you are ready to go. There is a pic on here someplace I think. They are light and strong, just what you need.

Mine are both made from threaded rod with heavy wire welded to nuts theraded on. But that was before I saw the one's ezzy made from PVC. I make any more and PVC will be it.
