Deadwood Kennels is holding a two-day seminar on June 5-6, 2010 focusing strictly on pointing and steadiness. Seminar is being held at Preston Costello's bird farm/permitted dog training area in East Berlin, PA.
Topics to be covered include:
Encouraging dogs to hold point forever;
Standing off their birds - pointing at a distance;
Honoring point;
Basic through advanced whoa exercises
Stop to shot;
Stop to flush;
Steady to wing, shot and fall;
Creeping;
Flagging; and
Blinking
Seminar is open to:
10 handlers with dogs ($100); and
10 people without dogs ($60).
