Before "the dog whisperer" was invented, before so many start-up kennels thought they needed the word "Whispering" in their kennel name, Whispering Hills Kennels was the established name and trademark for the original professional retriever training kennel located in the north Willamette Valley of Oregon.
Whispering Hills Kennels specializes in expert gun dog training for all retreiver breeds, including Nova Scotia Duck Tollers. We customize our training programs to the client's needs. From the casual hunter, to the most dedicated sportsman who demands an exceptional working dog. We offer AKC title programs, and will train the owner to handle his own dog in AKC Hunt Tests, Junior through Master, or, we will provide the complete training and title campaign service including handling at performance events. We are a member of the Professional Retriever Trainers Association. Our training programs are satisfaction guaranteed - in writing.
We breed exclusive quality Labrador Retrievers. Our lines strictly adhere to all aspects of AKC breed standards - correct temperament, instincts, intelligence, and structure, with dilligence to health and soundness. We guarantee health and soundness of our puppies - in writing.
We pride ourselves on being one of the few kennels in the USA and Canada that test and prove our dogs in the field and the conformation ring. We produce the the complete Labrador as it is meant to be: English good looks in a high performance working dog with a gentle temperament. Life is too short to hunt with an ugly dog!
