Eastern Classic

Post by zzweims » Sat Apr 19, 2008 10:10 am

My husband took three dogs, Chevy and his daughters Jesus and Mohawk, to the WCA Eastern Regional Championships this week, and ended up with an arm full of ribbons

Chevy:
2nd Open Gun Dog
2nd Amateur Gun Dog

Jesus:
3rd Futurity
3rd Open Derby

Mohawk:
4th Open Derby

Not bad for an amatuer on a borrowed horse and a string of only three :D

I also just found out that Chevy is now listed as the #3 Gun Dog in America (Weimaraner), and that Jesus, Mohawk, and a littermate, Kaiser are all on the WCA Top Ten Derby list. I don't know their ranking yet, but three out of ten--all from the same litter-- ain't bad!

Ack...I hate being the last to know. Do you remember where they placed? I am definately going to have to have a word with that German about leaving his cell phone off!!!

It killed me not to be there, but I've got a litter of wee pups at home.

Mary? Is this Mary Allen? If so, how the heck are you girl?

Mason-Dixon GSP trial:

Chevy--4th in OGD (27 starters)
Mohawk --2nd in OD (8 starters)

I have no idea of the other placements. All I know is that they weren't Weimaraners :P

Trish? Is this Georgia Trish or Alabama Trish? Or is there yet another Trish with vizslas? So many red dogs, so many women named Trish. I think I'll go lie down before I get dizzy.

Hey Aline, just wanted to congratulate you for your placements at the Eastern! Chevy and the pups looked fantastic. You should be very proud of them.
