Jasmine's first AKC conformation point...

Post by MTO4Life » Sun Aug 17, 2008 10:57 am

My girl, Sharptail's Alladin's Princess (Jasmine) went BOB today in St. Clairsville, Ohio. This is her first AKC point, and only the 2nd show she's been in. She went Best of Opposite yesterday against a fantastic show dog, but since she was the only bitch, no point was awarded...!!! :( We are very proud, and many thanks to Wild Mtn Brittanys for showing her for me while she is being trained with them for the summer. Hopefully she has many wins under her paws waiting to be posted... Had to let the world know as we are very proud!!!!!

Thanks... I was extremely proud of her. My wife and I wanted to go to the show, but it was a 9 hour drive (or so) one way, so we opted out. Now we wish we did, but the timing was great for us, so at least we know she was in good hands there! Thanks for the kind words...

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!

Congratulations! That's a very pretty girl. It's tough not being able to make their events....I have a young female GSP running field trials for the most part 12-15 hours away. As you, I have a very good trainer and its great to hear when she does well, but I still get a pang from not being able to witness.

Best wishes for Jasmine's continued success.

Congrats again Jasmine and MTO4Life and Kiki's mom who handled her to her first points and is in the picture with her.

Helen, I didn't post it as you had warned me (and I want to get my dog back at some point), so I only sent it to Andre to LOOK AT. He is solely to blame for his wonderful initiative in posting for the world to see!!!! He he he...
