Good Week

Just got done with a long but good week. My wirehair, Gable's Haywire (Gable), just won the Mid-North NSTRA Regional and got his NSTRA Championship while doing it on May 29. We then made the road trip down to Waverly, NE to compete in the Owen's National. We made the first cut and it was on to round two. Gable just missed the cut to make it to the top 16. I swung him in to pick up a mark that opened up with aprox. 90 seconds left in the brace and he pointed it with about 20-30 seconds left. To make a long story short I used that time plus the additional min. at the end of the brace and couldn't produce the mark that I had a good bead on. All I had to do was flush the bird and we would have made it in to the next round. Sorry Gable we'll get em next time. Even though we had some bad luck it was still a good showing as he handled real nice and it was a fun trip to make.

Congrats Adam...It never hurts to have a little luck making those cuts...Winning the regional was great!!!! Way to go...
