Picture from Liz's last hunt at 13 1/2 this last Sunday in South Dakota.

Heide Ho's Elizabeth - Liz (NC Bluemax Spitfire x FC Sin City Sonora who was a full sister to 3 NC's)

Thank you Robbi & Linda for selling her to us. Most weekends she had more finds than all the rest of our dogs put together. I'm sure we shot over 2,000 pheasants over her in her lifetime. Officially retired now.

I'm always happy when I make it thru another bird season with my dogs, my gun and my truck.

It's an added plus if I manage to keep my wife, my house or my job.

That is awesome, send Robbie a note please, she will be proud.

I would say that her history as a bird finder is well documented and her history as a field trial dog who hunts is also well documented.

Neat post. Those old hunting dogs provide some of the fondest memories a person could ask for. The only sad thing is that they age faster than we do and we wish we could spend more time with them.

Thanks again for posting.

Thanks for all the nice responses. Going to be hard leaving old Liz home after following her what seems like a brazillion miles.

I did send a PM to Robbi and I want all of you Trialers, NASTRA and hunt testers to know that us guys that are just hunters, appreciate that your willing to sell us pups out of such nice breedings that you all put together. Starting with a well bred pup is just out and out cheating.
