Temperatures hit 70 degrees and the wind was almost nonexistent all day. We found birds, but many flushed just out of range. I had three opportunities in just over 11 miles of walking. I connected with all three roosters, but we were only able to recover one. Echo rarely has an issuing recovering a wounded bird so I was disappointed that we were not able to find the last two pheasants. Hopefully, we get some cold and snow in the next few weeks.
