Just got my pic back from Dalins 2 point win as WD & BOW under the Honorable Judge, Mrs. Chris. Walkowicz, from the Durham Kennel Club in Raleigh, NC on 3-23-07. Please ignore the ugly mug at the end of the lead....

Thanx Brenda, he's coming along nicely!

Thanx Todd. He can Show 1 weekend; come back the next weekend, run Trials and point Grouse and Doodles all week in between. I don't Waterfowl hunt, but during the Summer training, we also do water retrieves for cool downs. So far, I haven't found anything that Dalin doesn't enjoy and do well.

Thanx Folks!

Hey Ross,
Met an old friend of yours a few weeks back; used to be a Rodeo Clown I believe.

The only Rodeo Clown I can think of was one of my ex-wives! I don't have a clue!

Did you get a name?

Oh, Steve. I didn't know he did that. He's a character! :)

Got my GSP from Steve and Judi. I've known Judi for a long time. Good people.

Ross,

Yea, he told me that your GSP was from him. Great to shoot the bull with. When I wasn't Marshalling dogs to the line, I was talking with Steve all weekend. Great guy! He was there to run a Brit? and watch Dot and Bill run Ace.

Pear,

We're getting there. He has 6 points, but he's been shown only in large entry/Majors the last 3 Clusters and that's all I plan to try and enter him in. Chasing Majors, as they say. He'll be getting the rest of the way "dead broke" through this Summer to be ready to run Fall Trial season hard. He's alllllmmmmoooossssttttt there!

Bruce

While I really dont give a rat's *** about a "show championship", I really enjoy seeing a dog that is a hunting/trial/hunt test/companion do well wherever it can!!!

A friend of mine a few years ago finished his dog's show championship the afternoon after spending the morning duck hunting.

Keep up the good work and don't ever stop enjoying the time with your dogs. That's the key.

Bruce,

Next time you see Dot say Hi for me. I haven't seen her in YEARS! She ruled back in the day with a dog named Ribbons!

I hear you Chris! Patiently working towards this Fall!

Ross,
I'll see her at Harrisburg next weekend I'm sure. Will tell her. Bill is one of my favorite people to shoot the bull with when ringside.

I knew Dot pre-Bill so it was a LONG time ago. But she'll remember me. My dog went BOS at the National Futurity! :D

I really liked Dot a lot.
