Puppy Brag

Post by lvrgsp » Wed May 09, 2007 6:52 pm

Ok I am going to have to brag a little here, I took my Cooper x Abbie pup out this evening for her first bird work, and she was quite simply awesome for the first time seeing gamebirds, 10 weeks old.
She was consisttantly scent pointing and holding point, and retrieving live quail with a very nice soft mouth.

Thanks Ken.
With as aggressive as she is I may have some headaches too. But I would not trade her for anything.

Wow she has changed so much since you took her home. Keep the pics coming. I see NFC all over her.

PS-Dennis is going to be taking 4 pups from the litter that Jill is from to his winter camp this year. I am excited to hear his evaluation next spring.

4 pups to the winter camp, man that is great. That is some great experiences for the dogs and lots of birds and big open grounds.

Is that 4 counting Jill? Her and Jack have spots reserved for that trip, that would be nice to see how the pups turn out.

Hadn't posted in a while the set ups shots of my Toby x Hud litter were taken this past week @ 7 wks of age, the candid ones at 6-6 1/2 wks. All are sold and will be leaving this coming weekend to head to their new homes. Now awaiting to see if our NSDC/FC BDK's War Emblem "Emmie" is bred to FC Chisholm Creek's Cuttin Loose "Cutter". Will be sure to post that if she is bred.
