We had a good time. A few "forum" members were there to swap tales. Pam, Cherrystone Weims, had some good runs taking her share of ribbons, Jay Houghton ran his fabulous litle Trish taking a 3rd their first time out in AGD, and our undercover board administrator (Grant) made a show to walk a few braces. Henry had some tales on other Forum members...and their dogs. He was a wealth of info on some of the old great dogs.

Hey Brenda!

Congratulations again on Dolly's win. I rode all of the OGD braces and she clearly had the nicest run of all the dogs. Very nice bird work and she kept to the front nicely even though the heat was terrible!

Hi Brenda:

Dolly was very impressive, but I fell in love with that little GWP on your string who ran AGD. WOW. That pup is definately one to kick us in the butts! Thank God I didn't have to run a dog against her

Our pups got a first and fourth in Am. Derby. Looks like a lot of people on this board competed and did well in Cedartown.

Aline

p.s. Rick and Brenda have a real nice generator for sale, real cheap.

Aline,

We are real excited about Trish. That little girl has me traveling all over the southeast now just trying to get her some more trial experience. I think when her handler gets a little more experience she will show alot better...fortunately I have some good mentors to get me caught up with the girl some day ;-) I am really looking forward to running her off horseback. I can't think of a better way to enjoy her...

Thank Nikolaus for scouting for me on Sunday...

We definitely want to come down and run her off horseback at your place sometime when we are done trialing for the year...I'll shoot you an email about that once we finish up for the year.

Regards,
Jay

Jay:

She's a REALLY nice dog. Come on down when you get the chance and we'll run her off horses. I bet she'll fly!

Hey Jay,

Congratulations on the AGD placement! It was nice to meet you. You've got a nice dog there and she'll teach you a lot in no time flat.

Congrats on the OGD win...! Ran into the Garners at a NSTRA Trial a couple of weeks ago. Is "Dolly" from their kennel?
