AZ Regionals

Held in Sonoita AZ
conditions a bit dry and windy the wind did contribute to a cold and extra dry factor But we manged to get r done
in the first round of eliminations Sorry for not having a comeplete scoring but I know Matt and his dog flow took a second My dog Blazer took 3rd and my dog bullet took 4th and lon Romingers dog Boz took 6th the Rosy John trouts dog took 1st and brad christensan dog candy took 5th....

So run off for the top 6 went to candy and Rosy for the final run off with rosey 3 birds and Candy 2 birds and a back they went on for the final hour.
Blazer was 2nd runner up and Bullet was 3rd runner up

So The final four for AZ
Champion Candy GSP Brad christensian
1st runner up Rosy pointer John trout
2nd runner up Blazer brittany Arlette Hennessey
3rd runner up Bullet brittany Arlette Hennessey

not sure about flow the pointer and Boz then brittany on the 5th and 6th places


then sundays regular double double trial

Blazer was on a streak he took 2nd on A field and 1st on B field.....

Still amazes me the conditions in AZ

With as dry and windy as it got many braces went with very few birds found. Some dogs came up with some tender feet from the dry grasses there but for the most part everybody had the same conditions to deal with. We had quite a few birds which didn't want to fly cause of the wind. heck I didn't want to run cause of the wind but as you know your dogs can't get anywhere sitting on the sidelines.

What was really cool is having 2 dogs make it to the top 6 This year was Blazer and Bullet ...I ahve had picabo and Blazer in the top 6 a few years ago

So Blazer has been in the top 6 three times as he made 2nd runner up last year also and Picabo twice as 1st runner up and 2nd runner up and this was bullet first time there. not bad for a bunch of hamsters
