Sharptailhunter Kudos

Post by DGFavor » Mon Mar 31, 2008 3:00 pm

Kudos to my buddy and hunting/training partner Alex, aka Sharptailhunter. He came home with a 1st place in the Open Shooting Dog from the Utah Field Trial Assoc. this weekend. That was cool enough but it was even better cause he won with my dog Trixie! Way to go to those two! 2nd and 3rd place went to another couple roany GSP's that'r no strangers to winning (1/2 sisters to my pride n joy Stitch dog so that was cool too!) Sounds like a nice mixed bag of pointers, setters and GSP's with some good performances that with some bird work or less misfortune woulda changed things up but I'm all for taking the win and running!!

Oh, and another highlight was a placement in the derby for another of our pups - 3 pups out of our 08 Stitch/Sadie litter in the winners circle so far, nothing to crow too much about but a start! Fun stuff - proud of those guys! I had to hold down the fort and work.

Way to go Trixie. I didn't recognize the handler without the gloves. Bet the dogs miss those too.

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!

Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.
