Field Dogs Rule!

Ok....this is a small show brag but kinda cool anyhow...On Saturday at the Medina KC show in Medina, Ohio there were 6 Brittanys entered. All but ONE of them has competed in field trials and comes from field/dual stock. That in itself was different for our neck of the woods at a dog show. There were two with juvenile field points, an FC and a DC also being shown.

Winners Dog was our boy "Cruz"- High Hopes Flyin Full Throttle to earn his first 2 show points! Judge was Dana Cline. Cruz was shown by hubby Carl.

Then in the afternoon Carl showed our 9 month old Irish Setter "Joey" in the 9-12 month class. He also came out on top with WD and BOW for his first show point! YAY! And his 1/2 sister (both of them are out of a DUAL CHAMPION Irish Setter bitch) went WB for her first show pt! When we got pictures taken we told Mr Cline that he had put up 3 dual bred dogs for the pts that day.

And the next day FC Delane Speak of the Devil owned by Dan Riedl and bred and shown by Dee Hempfield got WD for 2 pts in the Brittanys and now only needs 1 more point to be a DC!
And Joey once again went WD and BOW for his second show pt! So a good weekend for the dual bred dogs! Kristi
