New FC!!!

AFC Snips Midwest Maverick SH finished his FC today at Solon Springs!!!! Ray Dohse handling, owned by Rich and Debbie Miller. We are pretty tickled, as he was bred by us at WHK, and trained here, I put his SH on him and a GD placement when we decided he was running too big for foot and he went to Ray. Ray also won the Continental All Breed Championship with Mav...Took a 4 pt Ret major and 5 pt ret major. Congrats to Rich and Ray. Forgot to add. Congrats to Fritz and Sally, their first FC!!!Image

I've been watching Mav for 18 months. He is truly deserving of the FC title and is an excellent specimen of the breed, the dog doesn't make mistakes - he combines honest bird work with an exciting forward run (He's also won in hour stakes) and does not sacrifice classic GSP looks while achieving that goal.

I am proud to call Rich and Deb friends and want to let them know how proud I am of their accomplishment with Maverick. Also congratulations to Rick and Brenda, their lines helped make this possible.

I remember watching one of his first SH braces and walking over to Brenda... saying"
"his going to run in FT, right?" I also remember the brig grin in her face. Way to go to seeing his potential !

Yeah, what a brace THAT was! Birds everywhere!!! I will never forget the judge that brought out the rule book because he ran the whole course jig-zagging all the way to the bird field!:( :)
