We give dogs time we can spare, space we can spare and love we can spare.
And in return, dogs give us their all. It's the best deal man has ever made.

Ole Maverick put on a good show for his judges that is for sure. He ran in the OLGD stake, at a SHORTHAIR trial and came up smelling like roses. Those that only play in their own sandbox will never know the thrill of going to an off breed trial and getting the attention as well as respect of fellow bird dog enthusiasts, not just some of their own breed fancy peers. A 2 pt win against some of the regions most well trained, well conditioned GSPS and Vizs is most definately something to crow about indeed.
Like someone else said...the first adult points are Special.....and these first two points towards Maverick's FC title were well earned. 8)

One of the judges ( a died in the wool GSP guy for 30 years) told me he would rather cut off his right arm then take home and feed a Brittany but Maverick put on a great performance and earned his respect.
Congrats Andre...your boy is on the map now. 2 down, and 8 to go.

Andre congrats on Mav's big win. And yes winning at another breeds trial is awesome. There's just something about beating dogs of another breed that is really cool, and plus having those people that own shorthairs or what have you complitment your brittany really makes it worth it, so I get what you mean Helen.
