am gun dog win

Post by brookzee » Sun Feb 22, 2009 11:45 pm

i won am gun dog this past weekend at a trial in georgia with my dog Dixie.she ran a super forward race and was on the edge of being gone too long, but we would always find her to the front standing birds. was pretty excited. last week my dixie dog took third in an all breed open gundog with 38 sarters. i have run her 4 times now with 3 placements.
congrats to brenda roe, she won the open gundog with her archie dog.

Right on Jason! Happy for ya' man! Dixie is a fine, fine dog!! Details man!! We need details!! Remember it takes twice as long to recount the story of your brace as it actually took to run the brace!!

Talked with JW and he sounded pretty happy with how she was doing in the Open too then had the FT gremlins get 'em (probably residual bad karma from hanging around me last summer!! :D ) Sounds like a nice placement last weekend also! Gonna be too intimidating to come play with you guys on the prairies next summer!!

Congrats Brenda!! Very cool!! Details!!

Congrats Jason! She was going for the money on Sat too, probably the only thing that saved me was her last move :x Nice job, nice dog...

Congrats Jason and Brenda--

Those are two classy dogs!

We didn't run in OGD and we got out-dogged in AGD, but one of my puppy buyers ran his weim in OP and took the blue :D A good weekend all-in-all!

Congrads dude she has been looking good in training but a different dog come trial day in my opinion! She has plently more of them coming her way!
Has nothing to do with luck just boot leather and a fine GWP...
