SC Amateur Derby Classic
Great weekend! Caladen's Struttin' Gentleman and I took first in the derby. This was my 2nd horseback trial as a handler and Gent saved me again, he had a great run. Came up over a hill and there he was locked up. When I went into flush I split the birds 1 went out in front of me and the other went over him he stood tall. It was great and now I am really hooked. Thanks to Matt Lee for scoutting for me and letting us co-own and trial Gent for a while. Congrats to Mark Hatfield and Barrowed Money who took 2nd and Bill McCathern and Meg who took 3rd.

Congrats guys. Scott looks like you have really caught the bug now. Hard not to have fun when you are handling a dog like Gent. Congrats Matt and Ross as well. I know you guys are proud.
