Our best girl, Jade just finished her Open FC title this past weekend at age 4- 1/2.
She has been hunted over wild pheasant, wild bobwhite, wild valley quail, wild chukar and even wild grouse. She is the pick of the lodge when there is a choice in dog to hunt over for the day.....
Took her puppy points in Idaho a 4 pt stake with 19 entries - anybody who has been to Mile post 9 knows it's wide open BIG, BIG country and she was of course, horseback handled.
Took her Derby points in Nevada - 2 pt stake - again horseback handled, AGAIN...WIDE OPEN COUNTRY!
Took her first Brittany major in PA - 3 pts -the grounds tightened up considerably and the stake was a walking stake
and finished her title this past Sunday, running at Kildeer Plains, OH - anybody who has been THERE knows what a tough, wet course this is.
She won another 4 pts, with 22 starters in the stake, and was horseback handled....after helping Brian host a Chukar hunt at the farm the weekend prior where she put 16 birds in hand for lunch
Jade was shown on a very limited basis with myself as the handler, between trials until last fall when I handed her to my good friend Linda Mc Cartney with just 5 single pts to her credit for a season of shows. She finished easily in 8 short weeks garnering not only her CH title but also a Group 2 placement along the way.
Please meet out newest Dual Champion ( pending AKC recognition of course)
