Another Senior Hunter

Just received an email from a puppy owner. It must have been ESP as we were just talking about Bernie and his pup the other day wondering how he was doing. Bernie and Tucker finished their SH title this past weekend.

Bernie will be running "Tucker" in Masters in the spring.

CH Hillhaven's Scent Seeker is the male that I acquired from Jan Hill a few years ago, we lost him this spring just shy of his 16th birthday.

Way to go..Is that the guy I ran with in Ga? That was a nice dog, did not know it was out of the Rip daughter. I don`t start hunt tests down here until Nov.

No, wasn't the same guy. Bernie lives up around Pittsburgh, PA.

The guy that you ran with is Michael. I think he is going to try for masters on them also.

Congrats!!! I thought I remembered you trading a dog to Steve Ries at Top Gun for Snuffy correct .I know he had a Honey Run dog that he had sold. I think Jan co-owned him with Steve correct. Sorry to hear you lost him. I know Steve still must have some frozen stuff on him. I see he is still on his Web Site under Stud dogs.

I believe he might have enough for one breeding, two at the most. I am not sure of the situation between Steve and Jan, but Jan retained controlling co-ownerhsip of him. She had to be consulted prior to Steve signing (and Jan) Snuffy over to me.

I have been in contact with Jan Hill and got more information and pics of ole Snuffy when he was a youngster. He was a sweetheart and we were glad to be able to supply him with an indoor home for the later years in his life.

I used him on 2 of my girls and sent Patty McNary frozen semen on him. I still have several vials on ice.

Who was that dog out of that you traded for Snuffy? Do you share co-ownership on him now with Jan and Steve , being that Steve still has Frozen stuff on him and still has him listed on his web page under Stud Dogs?

It wasn't actually a trade, but that is a good way to describe it for lack of a lengthy explanation. Bronson was a full brother to my Callie female. He was a full brother to the litters that made my old Angel gal the #2 All time Hunt producing Dam for the GSPCA.

I owned Snuffy with no co ownerships. Steve collected on Snuffy while he had him and owns that semen. Anything that I collected after they transferred full ownership to me, is mine.
