And she keeps going, and going, and going

Baretta passed her 3rd leg ( 3 for 3) of her Master Hunter title on Saturday.

I had my doubts as for the last 3 weeks we have been grouse hunting and not worrying about steadiness and training, but she came through with flying colors with scores of four 9's and two 9.5's.

We have 2 more tests coming up on Nov 19 and 20, hopefully that will be it.

Cindy,

That is a real accomplishment in the MH field. Seems all the dogs I know always have to mess a couple of them up.

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!

Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.

ezzy333,

That is why I do not skip the SH title. I use the SH tests as training for the MH. Even though my dogs could probably pass master, I still do the senior. The senior is a way of proofing your dog and not messing up another tester in the master level.

We need to go back to the table and reinforce the "WHOA" command, but all in all she is retaining her training well even with hunting her in between tests.
