Finished Captain's CH Yesterday!

Post by Buckeye_V » Sun Nov 15, 2009 6:36 am

Pending AKC approval, Captain finished his CH yesterday in Columbus at the Lima Kennel Club show. He finished with a 3-point major. My wife Stephanie, Greg and Donna Jennings were able to make it there in time to watch Helen Witt masterfully show him to his finish. Helen has done an outstanding job with Captain and we appreciate her efforts.

I would like to thank Helen Witt for showing him on a limited schedule since May - Diane Fazio for starting him in the ring last year - and Denny and Linda Keeton for breeding such a nice dog. Captain has been and will continue to be a big part of our family and is well on his way to our first DC.

Now, I we can focus on the fun stuff! Field work!

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!

Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.

Yeah buddy, I was/am a proud pappa! Now, on to real deal. He's only 6 points away from his FC and AFC (each). Gonna be a fun year next year!

That is awesome man, congrats. I was just thinking about you guys and wondering how you did. Amazing that such a quality dog came out of that kennel/breeding :P.

I can't wait to see you guys and Captain back in action in the field next year! Maybe my Keeton mongrel will learn something by then too :D .

Best,
Rob
