New "Cover" Dog

Post by birddog » Sun Dec 25, 2005 11:37 am

Seems they like to put my dogs pictures on their Cover's.

The first of my dogs to become a Cover Dog was Mason Creek Brass. He was on the cover of GunDog magazine February/March 1991.

The following year, April/May 1992, 2 Brass pups were on the GunDog cover. That made two years in a row.

Then came M C Wired. He was on the cover of Bird Dog News, March/April,1994.

Now not to be out done by his Grandsire, Mason Creek Brass or his Sire M C Wired, CH Mason Creek's High Voltage JH, graces the Cover of the new 1996-2004 Breed Book of Champions.

Three fantistic "field bird dogs" that paint a pretty picture as an added bonus.

Can't help but Brag!

A great record Janet. Good thing come to people who care enough to breed the best. That is what responsible breeding is all about, Great hunting dogs that are a credit to the breed standards.

Congrats,

What an awsome accomplishment, and without a doubt something to be proud of........."pear"

Pretty nice picture.

Great honor to be on the cover of a book that represents
all of the champions of that breed.

I like the fact that they chose a picture of the dog doing what it was meant to do - - - which is hunt.

Congratulations Jan! I wholeheartedly agree with the editors choice of cover dog to represent the book of champions for the GWP breed. A great hunter that looks great also. Isn't this what all gundog breeds should aspire to?
