New Dual Champion

New Dual Champion

Postby phermes1 » Fri Feb 18, 2011 7:08 pm

Just wanted to share a brag that is starting this weekend off the right way. Southern Comfort Vizslas has its first Dual Champion!
DC SoCo's Pinnacle Inspired One, aka Mckinley, finished his DC today at the Tennessee Weim Club trial with a win in OLGD! He is out of our breeding between DC Lagniappe's Chosen One MH, and FC Tommy Boy.
Congrats to his owners Sue Rushing an Deb Verret, and his handler Jamie Fountain for the great job they've done with that boy!

Always impressed when you see the results of someone who is interested in the breed and not just one facet. Stick with it and congrats.

   Thanks Helen, I really needed that today.
I finally decided to show Ron and get some points on him last spring. Now the Job is getting in the way.
I think that I am going to have to farm out the next pup we decide to keep.

Thanks. That's Patriot. If he ever decides to work with me and be broke - watch out. :)

We've been extremely pleased with this litter. Nice looking pups across the board, tons of field ability, and great temperaments. Mac's sister TomBoy is 2 retrieving points from her DC, and we've got two more boys from that litter running in trials that will be very competitive once they settle down and get around clean a little more often. Our next litter has a lot to live up to, we got absolutely everything we were looking for out of this one.
