Good way to end the season
Just wrapped up my spring field trial season this past weekend.
Went over to the Diamond State GSP trial in Petersburg DE to judge a couple of stakes and run in a couple others.
My oldest female Star, took a first in the Open All Age stake. It was the inaugural Pam Peet Memorial stake. Pam was a unique lady and her Ravenwood kennel prefix was well known in GSP's and later in English setters.
What made it even sweeter was that this win provided the points that finished Star's FC.
I know Pam saw Star run at least a couple of times and liked what she saw. Pam liked a running dog. I think she would have approved.

CONGRATS Ray and Star!
In the few opportunities I had to talk with Pam, it was obvious she had forgotten more about Bird Dogs than I may ever know. A CLASSY Lady that had "Bird Dog" for blood and if she liked Star, then I'm certain she approved.
