Amatuer Gun Dog Win and a new "AFC"

Post by Elroy's Bandit » Mon Apr 25, 2011 12:12 pm

This past weekend worked out pretty well for my boy "Bandit". He has been home with me for the past 3+ weeks recovering from a nasty infection. We decided to go ahead and run him at the Eastern Iowa AKC trial...you know, just to see how he was feeling and to determine if we should run him in the Hawkeye Championships this week. Well Bandit took home the Blue on Saturday, and as if that wasn't enough the points put him over and he has finished his AFC!! WooHoo! :D

Big Congrats, Bill.

I guess bandit just needed a little R & R.

Do you think it was the Belgian waffles on Sunday mornings or the Friday night ice cream that helped the most with his conditioning regimen?

See you in Portage.

Nice job :D

Looks like he is going to be a producer as well Bill. Chip's pups are doing well and mine is placing virtually every time down. She won the Derby Classic at the Region 4 today and took second at the weekend trial.

Congratulations to Team Tomlinson. Way to go Wayne & Ken.

I'll have a better look at Bandit and his offspring this weekend.

Unfortunately Belle went into heat and did not run last weekend and will not at the Four Lakes trial. She might be able to run at the Hudson Valley trial. I already had entered her in the open stakes there and may put John to work in the amateur stakes also.
