I'm so proud to announce our first home-bred pup picked up her last two Junior Hunter legs this past weekend, handled by my husband. She completed her title in four tries - the first two were after just turning 6 months and she's now 10 months old. We trained her ourselves, no professional help required, and very little training at that. Next is the natural ability test the end of May (and shows along the way).
Upon AKC confirmation she'll be:
Schutzen's Shoot To Thrill JH aka "Beretta"
(VC Graf Von Burkhart MH x CH Woodlands Gem'n I Huntabird JH, NAVHDA NA PZIII)
Her litter brother "Dutch", Schutzen's Erst Geboren, also picked up his first JH leg for his newbie owner/handler this weekend as well.
To make my weekend complete, I handled their dam "Pebbles" to her 2nd and 3rd Senior Hunter legs. Can't wait to finish that one!
Pebs is out of CH Fourwinds Huntabird Speak'n Out by my own CH Woodlands Ready Freddy Novoa SH, CGC.
First home-bred title
Congrats! Sounds like a great time was had and perhaps another addict in the making! Always good news when new folks get involved in the games and their local clubs!

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!
Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.
