her last chance

i have a 10 month old pup that i've been working with over the past 5 months. she been in two puppy stakes, one in january, the other in march. both times she ran off in the wrong direction and failed to place. i entered her in a trial that ran this past weekend in Parks, AZ. this would be her last chance at her puppy points before she aged out unless i wanted to drive very far for a trial.
Open puppy ran on friday and Amateur puppy on sunday. i wasn't able to take friday off from work so i sent Lucy with a pro that i have been working with. he ran her on friday and i ran her on sunday. i found out saturday on my way to the trial that Lucy took first in Open puppy getting 2 points. i couldn't drive fast enough to get to the trial i was so excited. sunday came and i ran her in Amateur puppy. Once again Lucy had a great run and took first place getting the 2 amateur points she needed as well. i couldn't be happier right now.
btw, this my first dog.
