First NAVHDA Test=NA PRIZE I

Ran in my first NAVHDA hunt test last weekend and Otto scored a Prize I, 112 points!! Pretty pleased that 3 judges got to see what I have in this young dog.....Worked on the water part the most last Fall and this Spring....Just wanted to make sure he had the confidence and that paid off on test day.
Trying to now work on a plan of "where to next" with his training....Think I'm going to concentrate on the obedience part and see if I can fit a next Spring or Fall Utility Prep Test into our Family life....
What a helpful great bunch of folks the local NAVHDA (North Central Wisconsin) Chapter is...Glad the breeder strongly suggested running the dog in NAVHDA NA....A great resource and tool to get the most out of my hunting partner.
