Our Chloe, Woodland's Money Pit (DC Havapal's Renegade Billy Boy x FC W-Haven's Moose & Dixie's Kim, bred by Phil Corlew), joined Jeanette Tracy's string in late May to run the shooting dog circuit this season.
Although Jeanette is taking quite a bit of ribbing bringing a Brittany to the line (jokes about tractor accidents and harsh corrections were made...all in good fun of course), she managed a 3rd place in the Open Restricted Shooting Dog stake with Chloe this weekend at Spruce Brook Bird Dog Club's trial in Windsor, CT! This was their first time out, and Chloe was the only Brittany in the stake. Jeanette said she thought Chloe might be in it, but we figured she was just being nice.
We were shocked to go home with a ribbon and look forward to what the rest of the season holds for Chloe!
