Small Brittany brag

Post by MTO4Life » Sun Sep 04, 2011 7:28 pm

Just thought I'd show out tonight about how my little guy (Gunner) did this weekend. I have him south with my training this fall to get some polishing for hunting. He told me that he has done very well and wanted to run him in a few trials. I agreed to that. He ran at the Michigan Brittany club trial this weekend in the OGD. It was his first every adult stake and he ended up pulling a 3rd place! It was a 25 dog stake which means he missed qualifying for the nationals by only one placement!! I'm very happy and would LOVE to have this continue, but am happy no matter what as this means that he is really 'starting to get it'!!

Congratulations Travis, you must be grinning from ear to ear. I have a moose hunt to get out of the way first week of October then it's all about getting my boy on some wild grouse. Hopefully we can get out together.
