Saddle Pups Keep Winning

Post by remmy » Mon Oct 03, 2011 2:48 pm

Big congrats to Dr. Bill Orlando and Molly winning 1st place in Open Puppy and Oscar 2nd place. His three pups finished 1, 2, 3 in their first trial. The 2nd and 3rd from that trial finished 1st and 2nd at the EGSPC!

Big congrats Bill!!! Awesome pups you have there!

Great news and a huge CONGRATS to an absolute wonderful Gentleman on his pups! My 7 and 8 year old daughters loved Bill in CT this past June and wanted him to come home with us! LOL!

Thanks! They have been a lot of fun. I come home every weekend tired, smiling, and hoarse. I forgot how much work it was to hang on to puppies. After running them I am drained. I judged on Fri. from 8AM until 6PM and I was not nearly as drained as I was after handling those two. I'm just glad that I ran the other in Derby the day before. I have had some great people, including you guys, help me along the way. All I can say is that it is nice to see some younger blood in the sport keeping it fun, friendly, fair, and alive.

Great job with the pups, Bill. I'm still hurting from my scouting assignments. They are very powerful runners.

Bill - Congratulations.

Sorry I couldn't be there. I would have loved to see them go.

Puppies, espeically red hot ones, are an absolute blast because no one has a clue what is going to happen...especially the puppy! The fact that the Setter club is fenced in really does make it easier to turn one of those screamers loose.

Enjoy my friend.

Thanks John. Ray , thanks for your excitement as well. They have been a alot of fun this fall. What I'm really enjoying is the fact that have placed that way on 3 different sets of grounds. Made alot of training changes with these new pups. This is only the second set of dogs for me so I've corrected what I thought were weaknesses in my first two, his mom and her littermate which I also had as puppies.

The game is so addicting, I just picked up a 2500 HD Diesel for the Gooseneck that I am anticipating in the near future.

I only have to have about 30 litters to start recouping some of my investment! It is an investment, isn't it?

I had the pleasure of running against one of those pups at the EGSPC trial. It really isn't fair to run against one of those pups. You actually catch yourself wanting to watch those pups and forgeting that you actually have a pup running.  Great job Doc. Keep it up. You have some greaat pups.
