UKC wins and titles

Ran in the Epagneul Breton Dun Dog Club of Georgia's trial, and then a couple of days later in the EB Nationals. While Vern didn't win anything tis year, 3 of his progeny won trials and finished titles, which is now what I am really interested in.

Darius de L'Etoile du Nord o/h myself won in the "GUN" Class Pine Mountain GA, which finished his "GUN" and is moving up to the "Open" Class now Title.

Derrick de L'Etoile du Nord (Jovi) o/h Derick Lodermeier won also in Pine Mountain, and finished his "Trialer" Title in the "Open" Class.

At Quincy FL at the Nationals, Fergus Sur la Delavan, Breeder/owner Clint LaFary, handled by his 6 year old son Will, won in the "GUN" Class, and finished his "GUN" Title, and will be moving up to "Open" Class

It was a fun time this year Mark. The 6 year old (Will) is of proud dog handler. Will I see you in Iowa Mark?

Congrats to everyone involved. I bet that 6 year old was excited! Awesome to see young people involved with gun dogs.

I’m contemplating running my dad’s pup in Iowa. It would be my first trial experience.

Right now I am leaning against running in Iowa. I will have puppies that will be ready to go to their new homes starting that weekend. It is doubtful I would run Vern, so really all I would be running is Darius, and I am not sure he will be ready to run in Open. His retrieving is doing great most of the time, but still taking steps on shot fron a shotgun. Stands completely steady to a blank gun most of the time, but he knows Shotgun blast means bird is coming down.
