60+ birds over the new pup!

Well the season is done, but me and the pup can't wait for next year. My 2 regular hunting buddies and I shot about 60+ birds over Scotch in his first season, including grouse, hun, quail, and pheasant. I'm pretty "bleep" happy with my first pointer. And he's just turning one at the end of the month! And it was a crappy season as far as pheasant populations! Did I mention I'm training my first GSP and awfully happy so far? Thanks for listening...
The best place to hunt is where the birds are. Next best is where they ain't. Anywhere else works too.

Awesome, 2011 was a great bird population for us in California. Always great times when you see your dog working birds.
