Ruby - FT Brag

Post by Boxa » Mon Mar 05, 2012 7:52 am

I have a brag on my young dog, Ruby (Odyssey's Boxa Rise'Ann Shine)... She is 28 months old and has been doing a really nice job for me lately, she ran in two trials in February and picked up 6 points toward her FC by winning two stakes, one of which was a 17 dog OLGD with a multi-national champion and several other nationally ranked dogs. Hopefully we can keep the wheels on the wagon long enough to get this FC finished, I'm thinking she has real potential to move on to some hour championships, wild bird trials, and NFT's.

Thanks for letting me brag,

Here is Roob in training last spring:

Thanks to all for the kind words and the congrats... True to form Ruby continued her winning ways by taking first place in the Open Gun Dog AND the Open Limited Gundog last week at the WCGL Trial near Louisville. This finishes her Field Championship and since she began campaining on February 3rd she has amassed at least 10 championship points in 3 trials held over 6 weeks time - ALL Amateur Handled, following her expert training by Perfection Kennels.

She is certainly a special dog and I am hoping to keep her busy with some other 'activities' including but not limited to finishing the AFC and running in a few championships when I'm able to get away from work.

That was a quick FC! Odyssey + Jon is a winning combo. My boy is there now - but not a GSP - rust dog ;-).
