A Good Day NAVHDA Testing

Post by Ms. Cage » Sat Aug 18, 2012 9:16 am

Yesterday we had 5 pups from our last litter ( JJ x Cage ) test NA at the St.Croix Chapter. Our pups were 8 months old. there was also a 5 month old pup tested sired by our JJ.
The test was bitter sweet for me having lost our own pup ( Bull) from this litter 10 days ago hit by a car training.

Tammy,

Congratulations on an excellent day. I'm sure you would have had your 6th PI with Bull and I am sorry to hear about his tragic accident. Notch another breeders award up for the Hill clan!

Thanks guys, it was a real fun day watching and seeing all the pups. Even though Howie was the marshal he walked along with a couple of the pups in the field. Yesterday was the first time we had a opportunity to see any of the pups out of the Sharp Shooter breeding ( JJ x Sway ). Stig ran last and we didn't know he was a JJ pup until Stig was ready to run and someone asked who his sire and dam were. Needless to say my husband eyes lit up and asked if he could walk along in the field. Howie took losing Bull very hard...

It must have been a real treat to get to see your pups test and achieve some very nice scores. Congrats!

Sorry about losing Bull...
