At the Alberta Kennel Club show in Calgary (August long weekend), my GSP girl took Winner's Bitch and Best of Winners on Saturday for 3 points, Winner's Bitch on Sunday for 2 points and Winner's Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex (over 2 Group 1 winning bitches and 2 more group placing bitches) for 4 points on Monday. That puts her at 9 points in one weekend. In Canada, you need 10 points under 3 judges to get your championship. Now, we are on the "dreaded nine"

Geneva is the littermate to Ryan's Diego. Once Geneva's championship is done, I'm taking Diego on the road next. Brace yourself, Ryan.

You will have to pry him outta my cold dead hands. Hes going through hunting season before he goes through his show season.

Congrats on the win once again. Ciaro looked good in the pics you sent me. Hes a looker dog. Too bad they wont sell him.

Any idea when the next show is? I will try to make it to see Geneva finish her title.

Congrats on the wins. hope the last one comes easy.

I finished several dogs during gun season with no problems. We hunted during the week and showed on the weekends. Its good for the dogs to have that break and also its good to have the hands on contact that you get in the show ring. Helps the pups remember who is in charge.
