Success! (pics)
Luke is now 16 months old. Last season we took him out "hunting" to the preserve and to the trainers for "good times". But not till yesterday had he ever held a point long enough for me to move in front of him. He loves the fetch and can only think about getting the bird in his mouth. Yesterday he help 2 points long enough for me to go in and kick the bird up, in both cases he was able to get is reward. This made it all worth it, the feeling was incredible, It was really hard to pack up but it was such a positive day I wanted to leave it on that note.

Re: Success! (pics)
Congratulations! Dogs mature at different rates. My oldest GSP is 18 months old and it has been a lot of patience and work. My oldest GSP just turned 19 months old. We competed in our first NSTRA trial this past weekend and he did awesome. We placed in all four braces that we competed in and were the only team to do so.
Keep up the good work.
Keep up the good work.
