I just got off the phone with my father, who is at the 2013 ABC Grouse & Woodcock Classic / Championship and he informed me that his female Phoenix was named the Champion. This is a dual sanctioned trial with AKC and AF. I know this is a Championship trial for AF, but not sure what it is for AKC. I'll be meeting up with my parents tomorrow when we're both running in the National Am. Grouse Championship so his brittany could win 2 championsips in one week.

Congratulations, it is a great win!
For AKC it is a Classic win, he gets the points toward the title of Field Champion just as at any field trial. Titles are all that will appear on his pedigree. A shame really, but we all know the significance of the win.
