RTK's Calcutta Clipper - fall trial season

Cali turned 2 back on March 21 this year. With the new job and an impending move I decided to intrust the breaking of her to Tommy Hagan of Crow Creek kennels near Rochester, MN. The idea was to be patient and not rush the process of breaking this young talented dog. Figured 2014 would be the year that things came together and she would start winning.
I was to take her home after the GSPC of MN walking field trial held over Labor Day weekend, as I needed a dog for the hunting season. To my surprise we won an 8 dog AGD stake. Besides being surprised that she won I was also amazed due to the fact that I finally handled a dog to a broke dog win.
I took her home after that trial and we went hunting. Finding sharptail, pheasants and huns locally 2-3 times per week.
First weekend of October found us up at Solon Springs, WI for the MN Brittany Club ft, where I judged a couple stakes. This young little GSP ended up winning a 21 dog OGD stake that weekend. Probably the most amazing thing is that she did this with me handling off a horse.
With some arm bending and encouragement we decided to make the drive this last weekend to Eagle, WI for the Greater Milwaukee Brittany Club walking field trial. Again Cali did a great job and ended up winning the 16 dog AGD stake.
Just an amazing fall with what she accomplished in just 3 field trials. The future appears bright for this young female.
