GSPCA National Amateur Gundog Placement!

This past weekend was our first journey to the German Shorthaired Pointer Club of America National Amateur Gundog Championship.
I can't tell you how excited we were to have been accepted to attend....
Thirty dogs ran 30 minute braces on day one. These were really amazing gundogs & handlers.
Day two's field was whittled down to 10 dogs for the 45 minute Second Series the next day. You can imagine how surprised we were to make "the cut" to run in the Second Series!
We came in 4th. Still can't believe it!
The GSPC of Lincoln put on an wonderful event. Can't thank them enough. The people were very welcoming & the grounds are beautiful.
So here's a picture of Pearce & Zio flanked by Judges Wayne Yamashita and Gene Moseley Jr. And you may recognize that fellow in the black stetson: Delmar Smith. His sage advice: think like a quail! (Yes, it WORKED!)
