I have a new puppy this year. My first Dog bought with field trial competition in mind.....He turned 6 months a couple weeks ago, so I figured why not and I've been running him in puppy.
For the spring he ran in 3 open puppy stakes and got 3 placements, 3 third and 1 fourth. Not too shabby for a pup not even 7 months yet.

I have have not been around field trials so forgive the ignorance, what ages of pups can run in the open stake? Congrats on the placements. I'm hoping when my now 7 week old brittany is older I can run her!
Re: Small FT Brag
In AKC pups have to be at least 6 months old to run in trials, tests, or shows.808allday wrote:I have have not been around field trials so forgive the ignorance, what ages of pups can run in the open stake?
