Went out yesterday for a great duck hunt with my boyfriend and good ol' Bullet. Between us, we managed to down a limit of ducks, and added bonus, a ruffed grouse! I was sitting and waiting for some buffies to come flying into the decoys, and a grouse was drumming literally 20 feet behind me. Bullet retrieved most of the ducks, some swam off and had to be located again at a later time, but most of all, he LOVED that grouse. Gotta love upland dogs! They do it all!
