Blue Dawn Kennels has won the 2014 GSPCA National Gun Dog Championship with FC CLK's Point Me The Way "Allie". Allie is owned by Jerry Alden of Iowa. Allie defeated 70 dogs (I believe that's what the count was after a bunch of scratches.) Keith & I are so excited for Jerry & Allie and for our kennel. Pictures to come. Runner up was NAGDC/FC/AFC Dunfur's Tule Moon "Max" owned by Cal/Irene Palmer and handled by Dan Hoke, 3rd place was NGDC/FC/AFC Llano's Big Bad Betty "Betty" is owned by Joe & Chad Inderman and handled by Joe, 4th place was NSDC/FC/AFC H's Hedge Rise Ignited "Aggie" is owned by Harlan Higginbotham and handled by Peter Wilken

Thanks to BDK for all that you did this last year with Allie. I have had and trialed allot of dogs over the years and you always wonder in the back of your mind what it would be like to win a national championship or even have the dog to compete for one, and now I know and its a great feeling. Allie was never trialed as a puppy derby and I ran her in a few amt stakes early on and was told she probably wouldn't make it on the major trial circuit, but I was talked in to sending her down to BDK by my training partner to make sure and a yr and a half later she became a FC and National champion so I'm glad I listened. Sometimes with dogs we get rid of them to soon or keep them to long but in this case I finally made the right decision and it paid off. Cant wait to get her home and do some hunting.

I watch this dog run and she is the real deal. With very little handling she covered the course like none other. She was the dog to beat from the start. Allie set the standard for the whole stake. It was really beautiful to watch. Congratulations to Jerry Alden, you should be very proud of her. Congratulations to Keith and Robbi, what incredible Team.

Thanks guys what a great 2014 trial season, Allie had 6 wins and a RU including the last two hr wins at the classic in Lincoln Ne and to top it off with the Hr win at the Nationals in Eureka.

Congratulations, Jerry! Allie is a very nice little bitch. She has great style and can definitely find birds! I am glad you listened to us and sent her to Keith and Robbi, probably the best GSP trainers out there. I am sure she has more winning to do! Deb Hauser
