A little color

Post by BlueRiverSpringer » Thu Jun 22, 2017 3:48 pm

Here is a training video of my boy Blue River's Drivin' A Hard Bargain "Hardy" at a year old. This was the first day steady and trying planted birds, and also the first time I put him on pheasants. Never used the collar, he was a good boy. We ran 2 pup stakes, he won both, with his littermate getting 2nd both times. He finished his first 3 out of 4 all age stakes at 2, and we went on a year off for me and Lyme disease. We came back this spring in time to enter the last event for the spring, and he finished again bringing home 3rd in a 38 dog AKC field trial stake. He is a good boy. Hope to be back at it this fall taking after his AFC momma. :)

When you think you are smarter then your bird dog, ask yourself, "Who cleans up who's poo"?
