My young dog is with Ronnie Sale for the summer and he sent this today. It's the first picture I have of him in over a year and I wanted to share. I miss having the guy home for the summer break.
Best regards, Greg J.

Ronnie says he likes him and I've gotten some good feedback from other clients.
But, we'll just see how he does over the next year.
In the mean time, I've already got the 3/4 ton truck and I've finished what I've had to do to have honey-do points for a down-payment on a good gooseneck slant load.

He's a very nice looking dog Greg. Sure Ronnie will do you and he both right. Ronnie and Bev are good people.
Keep us posted on him and I'll look for him at the trials we'll go to this fall.

Thank you, Ted. I appreciate it. I wish I could take some credit for him, but Rick and Brenda bred him and Ronnie and Bev took the picture. All I do is manage his career and spoil him when he's home.

Thank you for the kind words, Robbi. I appreciate it very much.
If you see him at a trial, give him a pat on the head. He's a sweet boy and really likes people. Quoting Ronnie "he's tough as an old boot" too which makes for a nice combination.
Thanks again, Greg J.

Thank you Brenda. I'm going to blow that one up, maybe deepen the color saturation and put it on the wall.
I haven't seen enough Fritz pups to know myself, but I know this one is very much like him....with a strong undercurrent of Kirby.

Hey Greg, I thought that dog looked like FRITZ. I will have some FRITZ pups this fall from my female Sonstarrs Babe. You can see Babe on my web site. We think the breeding will work well. But then again she is my DOG. HA.------SONNY

Greg, A dog with that much style can actually ruin a hunt.
Hard to focus on hitting birds when your distracted by points like those or worse, walking up and trying to get your buddies attention to say, ”Hey man, check out that bad boy” . Next thing you know birds are in the air and gone.
He's a beautiful annimal and best of luck with him, but I feel for you…… really

Hi Roger...
I don't guess you'd believe me if I told you that he's normally more intense than that????
It's the unvarnished truth man...even if I was a Texan for 5 years...

Style, style and more style, congrats! You have a keeper and will be a joy to "enjoy". It sure is a pleasure seeing what Fritz is throwing...he is the definition of style in my book.
Your pup sure has a resemblance to C. Heller's Ruger...

I could sit here all day looking at your picture...opps I am at work...need to run! Enjoy!

Thanks! I appreciate it.
The resemblance has to be coincidence. There is no shared DNA till the 4th generation back. Gunner looks like Fritz. Fritz is colored up like his grand-dam Blitz.
Thanks again, Greg J.

Darn Greg, almost (Not quite yet) makes me want to get a Fritz pup! I love that style! I hope Ronnie can turn the corner with him and get him in the right direction! You may have to devote a wall for him at the house....
This fall if we can work it, I'd love to watch him from the saddle (my own!).

Justin, I'll bring you over to the spotted side yet. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.

That's a nice picture Greg! It's nice to have your trainer send ya' those when you're missing your buddy at home!
That's quite a list of goals you've got in mind on his pedigree page - mine are much less lofty like "will come when called", "will give me at least half of all shot birds", and "will quit staring at the neighbors pet geese and licking his chops". I have to say though, you left out hunting...say it ain't so!!

Yep. 'Bout once a year, I get blue missing him. It sure doesn't help a guy when the daughter cries her eyes out and the son mopes because their dog isn't home for the summer.

If we get past the FC, things will be OK.
I have great resources to train for the NAVHDA UT and AKC MH and there is a test within 3 hours every weekend. I just don't have resources to do HB myself right now. I envy the crap out of you guys that do.
I don't know if we're going to have time now for the show ring since we've essentially lost a whole year. That might drop off.
Oh, well, we do what we can.
DGFavor wrote:I have to say though, you left out hunting...say it ain't so!!

Well, I don't have much place to go, and I can't hit the broad side of a barn anyway. How about you invite me out there, show me what real hunting is and clean my plow shootin' em?
