Captain Places 1-2 in First Weekend

Post by Buckeye_V » Mon Sep 17, 2007 8:27 am

At the Vizsla Club of Greater Cleveland AKC Trial at Killdeer this past weekend my boy Captain had a stellar opening! I ran him in Open Puppy and Amature Walking Puppy. He got a first place in Open and a second in Amature Walking! I am so proud of that little bugger!!!! In Open he smoked the course and finished strong!!! :D

This is the first time in a trial I have run my own dog, so I am a little proud of our performance!

Buckeye, Sorry I wasn't there to see it. I chose to take one of mine to KY to harrass some of my UFTA buddies, but I think I had a dog at KP too, as well as my new mount. Haven't talked to Bill, how'd he do with his bunch? ..."pear"

Bill did reasonably well with his bunch. I saw him carrying around some ribbons. I saw your new mount. Looks a lot like my horse, only different color. Shorter, well-built. Bill rode Chey (mine) to give me an assessment. I helped him rinse off Pacer, so I got a good look at him.

I'll be seeing Bill the next couple of weekends. Hopefully I'll run into you at one or two.

Justin

Justin, Captain looked great in the open puppy, lots of potential there, you did a nice job handling also.....I missed the Am puppy as I was judging the Open Gun, congrats again!!
Pear, Bill got 1st in ALGD with Sage & 4th in ALGD with Charlie. Nikki was there, I judged her in OLGD, she had a nice run but moved on a bird about halfway through after being relocated, find was in an ugly spot - very heavy brush. He had her in ALGD too, not sure what happened there, I didn't see any of that stake.

Looking to be in PA at least one day if not both. So I'll likely see you the next weekend or two. ...."pear"

Hey Brittdude what kind of fool do you take us for .... McCallister has a couple new prospects I saw running around the other day, I think I'll pass. :P :P Just kidding !!! I think we're in PA again that weekend. Brittdude, if you need a spy there's only about 200 yards between my kennel and Delmar's... I might chirp for a small fee. 8) 8)

I was lucky enough to watch Captain run in the Open Puppy as well, and it was a very fine performance. IMHO, it stood well above the other placed dogs.

Congratulations.
